Solent University supports Ethical Banking and sets the standard for Corporate and Social Responsibility
When we say banking we don’t mean the large financial institutions, we mean the banking we put around our vending machines that advertise our chosen charity EdUKaid. Let’s be honest, vending machines are not the most attractive metal boxes to have stood in any building. However, when they are banked together like this their appearance and appeal is completely transformed.
Not only does good banking help increase revenue through the machines but when 5% of the profit generated goes to help improve the provision and quality of Education in the Developing World, the students can eat and drink and feel good. Naturally it helps if the vending machines installed are providing the latest Coffee shop style drinks, together with snacks and cold drinks, accommodating the diverse taste buds of students from many different nationalities. This could be the first vending banking system of it’s kind in the country and Solent University with the help of Revive Vending have now set the standard and created a model not just for other universities but also for business and government establishments who take Corporate and social responsibility very seriously.
